Intelligent Systems have announced that the TCG Fire Emblem ∅ (Cipher) will end with the launch of the series 22nd Booster Pack which is scheduled for October 1, 2020. The last Cipher event is scheduled for December 2020 with event support ending on March 31, 2021. Inquiry mail support will end in March 2022. Fire Emblem ∅ initially launched in 2015 with cards covering the series from the Famicom-era thru to Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE and Fire Emblem: Three Houses in more recent packs. 3goo have announced they will be publishing the horror adventure game Remothered: Broken Porcelain in Japan this Summer. In addition, a Remothered: Double Pack will also see a physical release containing both Broken Porcelain and its predecessor Tormented Fathers. Remothered: Broken Porcelain introduces new gameplay and storytelling elements including fully animated real-time cinematics in a series first.
Chorus Worldwide have announced that the Japanese release of the brutal hardcore platformer Never Give Up has been pushed back to early Summer. It’ll be a digital only release priced at ¥1,600 with Japanese and English language support confirmed. Never Give Up features over 250 stages, huge boss battles, and voice acting from Arin Hanson. DMM Games have announced they will be publishing the roguelike action adventure game Conan Chop Chop for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan later this year as a digital only release priced at ¥1,980. G-mode have announced a G-MODE Archives project that allows its feature phone titles to be played on Nintendo Switch. The project runs for four consecutive weeks from April 16 until May 7 with titles priced at ¥500 each. The first title (April 16) is the RPG Flyhight Cloudia, the second (April 23) the surreal life simulation game Ai to Roudou no Hibi, the third (April 30) the action puzzle game Kururin☆Cafe, with the fourth (May 7) the volleyball game Beach Volleyball Girl Shizuku. Nintendo have announced further closures to its Nintendo TOKYO store due to business changes at the Shibuya PARCO. The store will be closed on April 4 (Sat), 5 (Sun), 11 (Sat), and 12 (Sun).
