No More Heroes 3 Will Be Open World

In an interview with Wccftech, Goichi Suda confirms that the upcoming Nintendo Switch title No More Heroes 3 will include a “bigger open world than the original No More Heroes” although smaller than a “Ubisoft or Rockstar” title. Suda also confirms the game will use motion controls. On Hotel Barcelona (see this post for more), Suda says he is “serious” about the title, although “the soonest you’ll probably see it is in about two years”.

No More Heroes 3 is 50% Complete

In the only noteworthy tidbits from an otherwise un-newsworthy Travis Monday Nightro livestream, Goichi Suda revealed that No More Heroes 3 is currently 50% complete, Kimmy Howell will be returning, and three new characters were shown internally (but not to the general public). Suda also said that he’s working hard to get No More Heroes 1 & 2 ported to Switch and is consulting with Marvelous. Livestream added below. Post to be updated if there’s anymore news.
