Nintendo have announced that the Nintendo Switch has sold 55.77 million units (including Nintendo Switch Lite at 6.19 million) since it launched on March 3, 2017. Switch software stands at 356.24 million, with the best-selling title, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, at 24.77 million.

Nintendo have announced that Mario Kart 7 has sold 18.38 million copies worldwide as of 30 June 2019 and is the best-selling Nintendo 3DS title. The game originally launched on 01 December 2011 and had sold 18.26 million copies as of the last financial quarter.

Nintendo have announced that Mario Kart 7 has now sold 18.26 million units worldwide (1.21 million in the last fiscal year) making it the best-selling Nintendo 3DS game.
Nintendo 3DS hardware sales totalled 2.55 million units in the past financial year (60.2% decrease on a year-on-year basis), while 13.22 million software units were sold (62.9% decrease). Hardware currently stands at 75.08 million units with software at 378.12 million units.
