Hero Must Die Coming to Switch
G-mode have announced the RPG Hero Must Die: Director’s Cut for Nintendo Switch as the latest game in the G-MODE Archives series.
Hero Must Die: Director’s Cut (known as Yuusha Shisu。Director’s Cut in Japan) is the first game in the Hero Must Die series which was remade for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 earlier this year as Hero Must Die. Again. Hero Must Die boasts Shoji Masuda as its scenario writer and game designer, Shunya Yamashita as the character designer, and Kenji Ito as composer.
The game takes place over five days, featuring the final exploits of its unnamed hero after he defeats the demon king Satan, but dies in battle, and is granted five more days of life. G-MODE Archive Series 18 Yuusha Shisu。Director’s Cut releases on Thursday, October 1, 2020, priced at ¥500, and has been given a CERO A rating (suitable for all ages). G-MODE Archives consists of past G-mode smartphone titles ported over to Nintendo Switch. Yuusha Shisu。Director’s Cut will mark the 18th title in the series.
