GungHo announced that Ninjala has surpassed 4 million downloads worldwide on Nintendo Switch and to commemorate, all players will receive a free gift of 100 Jala! In other company news: the robot battling strategy game Volta-X will be coming to Japan in the near future as Koutetsu Juuki Volta-X.
The cross-play and cross-friends feature is now available on the Steam, Microsoft Store, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions of the Dead by Daylight game. The mobile version is not included however, with the Stadia version to also come with cross-play at launch.
Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition will receive a worldwide physical launch on September 8 priced at ¥3,960. The PS4 version arrives a month later. The Creeping Winter DLC also arrives on the 8th along with a free update featuring Daily Trials and new camp merchants. Promo video here.
And in other news: the trial version of NBA 2K21 will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One from August 24 and the hat-based puzzle game Ultra Hat Dimension from Ratalaika Games is scheduled for release on the Japanese Switch eShop on August 20 priced at ¥500.
Only two full games launched in Japan this week with Yo-kai Gakuen Y ～Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu～ from Level-5 and Arcade Archives Super Punch-Out!! from Hamster. Dragon Quest Rivals also received a large scale update, changing its name to Dragon Quest Rivals Ace and adding a single mode.
