Ogre Tale is a 2D sprite-based tongue-in-cheek beat ’em-up with multiple playable characters where you can play alone, team up with friends in online or offline multiplayer. RPG elements are included with experience, coins, and other loot that you can use to strengthen your characters and their skills. The game sees you join ogre sisters Ran, Hana, and Yume, and their feline mentor, Iroha, in a battle against fairytale folk heroes turned villains set in modern-day Japan.
Ogre Tale is developed by Degica Games, the same team that brought you Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. It’s set to be published by MAGES. and will release first on Steam on Friday, August 21 (20th in the west) priced at ¥1,980, with the console versions to follow at a later date.
