Nintendo Switch Online Games Announced

The next Nintendo Switch Online games arrive on July 15 with Shin Megami Tensei, Donkey Kong Country, and Gun-Dec all coming to Japan…

Shin Megami Tensei (ATLUS)

The first title in the Shin Megami Tensei series (although the third in the Megami Tensei series) that originally released on the Super Famicom in 1992. Shin Megami Tensei is a first-person dungeon crawler that features turn-based 3D battles against demons, where players can both recruit demons as allies and fuse demons together to create new ones. By using the character’s three attributes (Law, Chaos, and Neutral), you can change the outcome of the ending of the game. The latest game in the series, Shin Megami Tensei V, is in development for Nintendo Switch.

Donkey Kong Country (Nintendo)

The original Donkey Kong Country game that pushed the Super Famicom to its limits back in 1994! After a dark and stormy night, Donkey Kong finds all of his bananas stolen by K. Rool and his reptilian crew of Kremlings! Armed with chest-pounding muscle, mighty barrel rolls, and awesome vine-swinging skills, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong set out to face their adversaries! Play over 100 levels filled with collectibles and hidden bonus levels. With the help of Donkey Kong’s quirky family, animal friends, and your fast reflexes, our dynamic duo will prove to be an unstoppable force.

Gun-Dec (SEGA)

Gun-Dec is known as Vice: Project Doom outside of Japan and is a multi-genre video game released in 1991 for the Famicom. The game is developed by Aicom, was originally published by Sammy, and is set in AD2139 in a world ravaged by crime. You head a team of special detectives known as “VICE”, who dare to confront the evil organisations that are controlling the underlying world. You must rid the planet of gun crime, prostitution, narcotics, and murder, across the game’s multiple levels of side-scrolling platforming, 2D top-down racing, and 3D shooting action.
