Zarude’s Signature Move Update!
Zarude’s signature move in Pokémon Sword & Shield will be Jungle Healing! Check out more details, screens, and trailer below…
Japanese players will soon be able to obtain the new Mythical Pokémon, Zarude, by pre-booking a special advance ticket for Pokémon the Movie: Coco. Reservations open in Japan from August 7 priced at ¥1,400 per ticket (¥800 for junior tickets) where players will receive a code to add Okoya Forest Celebi and Okoya Forest Zarude to their Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game. The movie has been rescheduled for Japanese theatrical release this Winter. It was originally scheduled for July 10, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Full details (in Japanese) of how to obtain Celebi and Zarude can be found here.
Once Zarude reaches Lv. 90, it can learn the Grass-type status move Jungle Healing—where it wraps its vines around trees and absorbs their energy, then releases that energy combined with its own. Healing power heals both the user and its ally Pokémon, restoring their HP and curing them of any status conditions. Only Zarude can learn Jungle Healing within Pokémon Sword & Shield. However, it is possible other Pokémon may be able to learn this move in future games. Details of how western players can obtain Okoya Forest Celebi and Okoya Forest Zarude are not yet available, but we’ll keep you posted!
