Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch released in Japan back in December 2019, the European version released a few weeks later, with a North American version still not even confirmed. The Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training series (or Brain Age as it’s known as in North America) began in 2005 – when Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? released on Nintendo DS. The series’ concept is inspired by the research and published works of the Japanese neuroscientist Ryuta Kawashima, with the original game becoming one of the most successful games on Nintendo DS (having sold over 19 million copies), and it has seen a DS sequel (which sold over 14 million), three DSiWare titles, and a 3DS entry.
