Tuesday Update:Nintendo Switch Version 10.0.0, Plus More News!

Nintendo Switch received its Version 10.0.0 update a week before we expected it to launch and which adds the ability to transfer data between the SD card and system memory, to remap the controller buttons, plus much more in the patch notes here.

● Nintendo announced that Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite shipments will resume in Japan this week after being suspended last. Pre-orders are open at the my Nintendo Store on April 15 with the Animal Crossing set’s pre-orders resuming on April 27.

● Nippon Columbia announced the cute vet simulation game Wan Nyan Doubutsu Byouin: Pet o Tasukeru Daiji na Oshigoto for July 7 release on Nintendo Switch in Japan priced at ¥5,280. Check out the box art here.

● Kanawo and PLAYISM announced that the charismatic adventure game Noel The Mortal Fate (or “Higyaku no Noel” as it’s called in Japan) will also release on Switch, PS4, and XB1.

● Caramel Column’s president Maki Ono doesn’t expect the Switch release of ALTER EGO S to be affected too much by being worked on from home.

● Clouds Play Company achieved the second goal in DLC crowdfunding for Osyaberi! Horijyo! Gekihori ~Ana Horisuki Uchu wo Sukuu Tte Nandeyanen~ adding a new stage, Time Attack Mode, and voice acting.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp also received a major update (Version 3.2.0) changing the the Cookie & Depot Plan to the Furniture & Fashion Plan, allowing you to preview furniture and clothing before you craft it, take photos in recreation spots, and more. Full patch notes and images posted here.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw a Double Special Heroes summoning event (featuring Hector, Ishtar, Ilyana, Berkut, L’Arachel, Fae, Dozla, and Eirika), Grand Hero Battle – Kempf: Conniving General, and Mjölnir’s Strike: Brace phase all live.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock increased today by +1,170 (2.64%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 45,480.00 JPY – the highest in four months.
