Super Smash Bros. Ultimate saw the beginning of the “Ready? Wallop!” spirit event featuring Cuphead, Mugman, The Devil, and King Dice pictured here.

● Gust posted some new artwork (here) to commemorate Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout surpassing 350,000 units sold.

● Preloads for Animal Crossing: New Horizons are number one on the Japanese Switch eShop with Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix at number three. Check out the full top 10 for both Switch and 3DS here.

Gift Ten Industry (Madorica Real Estate and Kaminazo Mirai Karano Omoide) announced they are developing a new Switch game, although no more details were revealed.

Teyon Japan will be revealing a new game next week. No details on title nor platform, but we did get this little tease.

Goonya Fighter added the Running On Fumes?! Natural Jet Propulsion Battle! and was updated to Version 1.1.0 adding two Additional Rules DLC, each priced at ¥70.

● Regista updated the Nintendo Switch version of the indie horror game Shadow Corridor to Version 1.2.0 adding a lighting adjustment in Options and Graphic Settings where you can now select ambient light.

● Qureate updated Prison Princess to Version 1.0.1 fixing the bug where if you solved the trick at the bookshelf in Aria’s cell first before taking the box in Zena’s cell, you wouldn’t be able to see hints to empty the box.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Eloise’s Flapjack Cookie available newly available with the special memory and video posted here.

Dr. Mario World saw a Dr. Wendy Pack available for purchase priced at ¥2,440. The game also saw emergency maintenance today with each player being sent 2 x Staff Tickets for new doctors / assistants.

Dragalia Lost saw the Summon Showcase, Dulcet Delights! begin. Check out the adventurers Meoldy and Addis, dragon Epimetheus, and video here. Today also saw the beginning of the story event revival, Valentine’s Confections.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Hall of Forms featuring Sigurd: Holy Knight, Quan: Luminous Lancer, Eldigan: Lionheart, and Lewyn: Guiding Breeze, as well as a 3rd Anniversary Daily Summoning Event, Bound Hero Battle: Hector & Matthew, and Mjölnir’s Strike: Rest period. Full details here. The game will also see New Heroes: The Dread Isle on February 17 featuring Nils: Bright Bard, Rath: Wolf of Sacae, Fiora: Airborne Warrior, and Leila: Rose amid Fangs. Super Mario Run saw the Friendly Run Event return where you receive Rally Tickets whether you win or lose playing Friendly Run.

● Sega Games announced a Sonic Station Live! series of monthly broadcasts beginning on February 20 airing on YouTube and delivering new Sonic information.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-order points on Comgnet are currently 185 (Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently 179 and is now number two in the pre-order rankings!).

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock decreased today by -350 (0.87%) in Japan to close trading for the week at 39,840.00 JPY.

NPD data for January 2020 saw Nintendo Switch as the best-selling hardware using both unit and dollar sales. The best-selling retail Switch software saw Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Ring Fit Adventure, Pokémon Sword, Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pokémon Shield, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Super Mario Party, and Just Dance 2020.

D.I.C.E. awards winners included Untitled Goose Game winning Game of the Year, with other winners including Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2, Mario Kart Tour, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Check out the full list of winners here.
