● The Kunio-kun spirit event, “River City Smash”, has now begun in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Check out the official artwork for Kunio, Ryuichi & Ryuji, Riki, and Goda at this post.

● Kogado Studio announced Yumeutsutsu Re:Master Bundle Pack for release at retail in Japan on April 23, 2020, priced at ¥8,580. The Bundle Pack containss the Yumeutsutsu Re:Master base game plus the Yumeutsutsu Re:After fan disk.

● Sega Games updated Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game adding the table tennis players Tomokazu Harimoto & Miu Hirano with the judoka Yasuo Inoue & Shinichi Shinohara still active. Harimoto video posted here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment will deliver a huge Winter update to Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet COMPLETE EDITION on February 3 with a demo for the Switch version arriving on the next day.

● AQUASTYLE updated the Fushigi no Gensokyo -Lotus Labyrinth- to Version 1.1.0 adding more Lotus Friends (Yuyuko Saigyouji, Eirin Yagokoro, Kaguya Houraisan, Watatsuki no Toyohime, and Watatsuki no Yorihime) DLC , an improved UI, plus minor bug fixes.

● Koei Tecmo Games updated Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate to Version 1.0.9 on PlayStation 4 and Version 1.0.12 with a number of additions and adjustments detailed in the full patch notes here.

● An Izanagi Games Death Come True livestream will air on YouTube on February 6, 2020.

● Sega also announced a Puyo Day 2020 livestream for February 4, 2020, and which will include Puyo Puyo eSports (Champions) information.

● Next week’s Hamster release will be Arcade Archives Tecmo Bowl which arrives worldwide on January 30 priced at ¥838. Check out the Switch version screenshots here.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore went straight to number one on the Japanese Switch eShop charts this week which likely will put the sales numbers above the Wii U version. Check out the full top 10 for both Switch and 3DS here.

● Teyon Japan announced they will be localising the 3D top-down open-world action game American Fugitive on the Japanese Switch eShop, likely within the next few weeks.

Dragalia Lost will see the Monster Hunter “Primal Crisis” event begin on January 29 (28th PT) with Rathalos, Hunter Vanessa, and Hunter Berzerker confirmed. Check out the new promo video here.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Special Heroes Revival: Hostile Springs begin featuring Ryoma: Samurai at Ease, Sakura: Hot-Spring Healer, Elise: Bubbling Flower, and Hinoka: Relaxed Warrior along with Mjölnir’s Strike: Brace phase.

Mario Kart Tour will see the Valentine’s Tour begin next week with a silhouetted new driver (teased here) likely being Cupid Baby Peach!

Nintendo TOKYO added the neat looking Yoshi’s Chocolate Crunch and Yoshi Oven Mitt and Pot Stand. Check out images for both here.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock increased today by +170 (0.39%) in Japan to close trading for the week at 43,700.00 JPY. A new company patent (along with Intelligent Systems Co., Ltd. was also filed for and possibly relates to Fire Emblem Heroes’ Forging Bonds event. More details posted here.

● NBC Universal announced that Epic Universe Super Nintendo World has a tentative 2023 release window.

● ConcernedApe announced that their simulation game Stardew Valley has sold over 10 million units across all platforms worldwide since 2016.

● Sega will reveal a new game at the Taipei Game Show, from February 6 to February 9 as reports Siliconera.
