● Square-Enix announced both a Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai anime (Fall 2020) and video game (no date nor platform) for release. Check out a teaser trailer for the anime here. The game will be produced by the Dragon Quest VIII and IX producer Ryutaro Ichimura.

Shigeru Miyamoto was one of four persons recognised as an honorary citizen of Nantan, Kyoto. Miyamoto, 67, was born in the city.

● Shijin Ranbu won the first day of the 5th Splatoon Koshien in Hokkaido earlier today. Check out the video here with day two to follow.

● The Iispo! Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament takes place in a few hours tie on Fuji TV ONE. First round line-up posted here.

● PM Studios announced the 2D cyberpunk action game Evolutis will be coming to Switch worldwide in 2020. Teaser trailer posted here.

● ORENDA announced the 3D platformer DOTORI (trailer here) and the multiplayer action game Baron: Fur Is Gonna Fly (trailer here) for release on the Switch eShop shortly.

● Konami announced a 2020 update to Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution adding more characters and cards. Konami will also be bringing the game to PS4, Xbox One, and Steam at the same time.

Dragalia Lost saw the featured boss Hypnos added to Astral Raids.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Summoning Focus: Heroes with Rally Skills begin featuring Quan: Luminous Lancer, Ophelia: Dramatic Heroine, and Corrin: Dream Princess.

Mario Kart Tour will see the Pauline Cup as the ranked cup in the second half of the Holiday Tour next week.

Super Mario Run saw the Bonus Medals you can collect on Remix 10 multiplied by 1.2.
