Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin (Marvelous)

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin combines side-scrolling action with deep crafting and farming simulation, is an ode to rice and an engrossing simulation of the craft behind the agriculture, and launches on Nintendo Switch in 2020.

WHAT THE GOLF? (Triband)

A silly physics-based golf parody where every golf course is a new surprising type of golf, some brilliant or hilarious, others so absurd they will make you go: WHAT THE GOLF? Coming to Japan this Winter.

Eastward (Chucklefish)

Discover the wonderfully weird world of Eastward in 2020. Jump aboard the cross-country railway which spans this decaying continent, stopping off to explore its bustling towns, curious campsites and shady forests.

Inu Inu (Coatsink)

In PHOGS! (called “Inu Inu” in Japan), you play as a duo of dogs, Red and Blue, on a captivating, puzzle-filled adventure solo or with a friend in co-op mode. PHOGS! comes to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020.


SYNAPTIC DRIVE is a competitive online shooting game that launches for Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020. Developed by Thousand Games and directed by Kouji Kenjo (Custom Robo series), SYNAPTIC DRIVE features 10 unique characters and 100 types of trackers, wires, and guns.

Killer Queen Black (Liquid Bit)

Fight for your hive in this strategic team platformer with three ways to win! Hop on the snail, hoard berries, or wipe out the enemy’s queen to claim victory. Killer Queen Black buzzes onto Nintendo Switch Japan in Summer 2020.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition (Microsoft Studios)

Featuring hand-painted artwork, meticulously animated character performance, a fully orchestrated score and dozens of new features in the Definitive Edition, “Ori and the Blind Forest” explores a deeply emotional story about love and sacrifice, and the hope that exists in us all. Already released.

Sail Forth (The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild)

There’s nothing quite like a high-seas adventure combining classic naval action with exploration. In Sail Forth, the entire map is procedurally generated, with players discovering islands to explore, quests to take, sailors to rescue and pirates to loot. Sail Forth docks on Nintendo Switch in 2020.

Baba Is You (Hempuli)

Baba Is You is a puzzle game where you can change the rules by which you play. In every level, the rules are present as blocks you can interact with; by manipulating them, you can change how the level works and cause surprising, unexpected interactions! Baba Is You is now available to preload on the Japanese Switch eShop and is available to play on 16 December.

Gleamlight (D3 Publisher)

Using a stained-glass motif, this unique game puts players in the role of a sword (that’s right: a sword) in a terrifying, sad, but warm story drawn in a beautiful glassy world. From the developers of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night comes Gleamlight, launching for Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020.

The Survivalists (Team17)

The Survivalists combines crafting, base-building and survival, along with a few surprises, in a new adventure set within the Escapists universe. And on Nintendo Switch, up to four players can play together in local wireless* and online multiplayer**. The Survivalists launches for Nintendo Switch in 2020.

What Remains of Edith Finch (Annapurna Interactive)

Winner of Best Game at the 2018 BAFTA Game Awards, as well as Best Narrative awards at the GDC 2018 Choice Awards, 2018 SXSW Gaming Awards, and The Game Awards 2017, What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. Already released.

Tools Up! (ALL IN! GAMES)

Home renovation has never been so much fun!It is hard, messy work. But you don’t have to work alone in this crazy couch co-op! Join up to three friends, sit down (or not) and start a wild renovation party! Tools Up! is now available on the Japanese Switch eShop.

Into the Breach (Subset Games)

Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game from the makers of FTL. Into the Breach is available in Japan in Spring 2020.

Sports Story (Flyhigh Works)

From the creators of Golf Story comes a new adventure full of golf, tennis, dungeons, espionage, mini-games and plenty of friends – and enemies – to meet along the way. Sports Story launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Summer 2020.
