● The pictured Kirby once again won the Nintendo Dream Character Poll in the December 2019 issue. Look out for the full top 10 posted on the front page of Japanese Nintendo shortly!

● The 8th Grand Prix event for TETRIS 99 will see a Luigi’s Mansion 3 theme (pictured here) for those that score 100 event points.

● Chorus Worldwide tweeted that Megaquarium has gone gold. It releases for Switch on 12 December.

● Marvelous’ Hikaru Nakano said that the Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town remake is a “first step” and that the team are planning the future for the series.

● Kadokawa Games opened up the official website for LoveR Kiss on Switch.

● Indies Zero are co-developing Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch. Their last Nintendo game was Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido.

● Developer Alternative Shift and publisher Humble Bundle announced the the tactical rogue-lite game Crying Suns for Nintendo Switch release in 2020. Trailer posted here.

Dr. Mario World will undergo maintenance from 15:00 – 19:00 JST on 24 October (23:00 – 03:00 PT on 23/24 October).

Dragalia Lost saw High Brunhilda’s Trial: Master added to All Advanced Dragon Trials and will see Shishimai added to Astral Raids this weekend.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw New Heroes: Zofia’s Call begin featuring Forsyth: Loyal Lieutenant, Python: Apathetic Archer, Silque: Adherent of Mila, Catria: Mild Middle Sister, and Valbar: Open and Honest. Mario Kart Tour was updated to Version 1.1.1 fixing the remaining issues from the last update. Waluigi and Waluigi Pinball were also confirmed fr the Halloween Tour beginning this week (and pictured here).

● In COMG! pre-orders: Pokémon Sword/Shield has 482 pts, and in rankings for this past week: Ring Fit Adventure is number one with 61 pts and Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is second with 57 pts. TSUTAYA has the top two games reversed. GEO also has Story of Seasons on top, followed by Ring Fit Adventure.

● Austria-based publisher THQ Nordic announced that it has established THQ Nordic Japan KK foristribution, promotion, and marketing of THQ Nordic and subsidiary HandyGames titles in the Japanese market. Worker Bee President Yuji Kato is the Managing Director.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. stock dropped again today by -60 (0.16%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 38,550.00 JPY.
