Tuesday Update:FCC ID Filings Indicate SNES Controller For Nintendo Switch, Plus More News!

As originally discovered by Link83, SNES games are even closer to coming to Nintendo Switch Online as new FCC ID filings by Nintendo (here and here) indicate that a SNES controller will be coming to Nintendo Switch.

● Japanese players can apply for an early trial version of Pokémon Sword/Shield for Tokyo next month by reserving the game and using the code to become a member of the Pokémon Secret Club. Full details posted here.

● Both Friday the 13th: The Game ULTIMATE SLASHER EDITION from Natsume Atari and Raspberry Cube from iMel are now available to preload on the Japanese Switch eShop priced at ¥5,184 and ¥4,298 respectively.

Dr. Mario World players will be sent “a token of appreciation” soon as apologies for numerous issues with Versus Mode and with Monty Mole.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the new Lost Lore event as well as the Daily Summoning Event: Heroes with Draconic Aura featuring Karla: Sword Vassal, Ares: Black Knight, and Kana: Dragon Princess. Full details posted here.
