● Otomate/Idea Factory have announced that the visual novel game Hakuoki Shinkai Tsukikage no Shou will release in Japan on 26 September. Check out the opening movie here.

● The Nintendo Versus Twitter account posted the the stage selections for the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 and a video for current World Champions, GG BOYZ.

● Weekly Famitsu Issue No.1592 which is out tomorrow in Japan has a Yokai Watch 4: Bokura wa Onajikara o Miage Tale cover and feature. Check it out here.

● Touhou Sky Arena developers Area Zero are developing a brand new 3D Touhou game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the early development footage here.

Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version (Fishing Spirits) will include a Medal Mode, Bouken Mode (story), and Tournament Mode. There’s also a Taiko no Tatsujin collaboration stage. Check out the updated website.

● Nintendo have updated the movie page for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as well as posting the results for the fourth screenshot contest with comments by Masahiro Sakurai.

● Arc System Works have postponed the release of the next Kunio-kun game Downtown Rantou Koushinkyoku Mach!! from Spring to Fall release.

● Eastasiasoft announced they will be publishing the retro puzzle game Warlock’s Tower on the Japanese Switch eShop next month. Check out the trailer for the PS4/Vita version here.

● The last semi-major 3DS game Mobile Ball has been postponed by XFLAG from Spring to ‘2019’. 3DS is still listed as a platform, along with iOS and Android.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw the second half of the Gracie’s Haute Hello garden event begin with 20 x p.-glasslily seeds free for every player. Check out the full details for the event at this post.

Super Mario Run will update to Version 3.0.14 on 10 June where the game will only be compatible with Android devices running operating system 4.4 and later. The iOS version will remain unaffected.

● In Famitsu data from 29 April to 06 May: Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console in Japan with 141,953. Days Gone was the best-selling game with 56,689, followed by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with 51,011, Minecraft with 42,774, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with 40,605, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe with 36,329.

GEO rankings intimated another slow week with Minecraft at number one followed by Days Gone. The only new entry is Ryan Marks Revenge Mission at number eight. COMG! and TSUTAYA rankings both indicate another slow week with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on top in both.

● Reservations for Yokai Watch 4: Bokura wa Onajikara o Miage Tale at COMG! are at 53 pts, both Super Mario Maker 2 and Fire Emblem Fuuka Setsugetsu are at 32 pts, and Rune Factory4 Special is at 31 pts.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares dropped by -870 (2.26%) in Japan today to close trading for the day at 37,650 JPY.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced they have teamed up with Sony Pictures for JUMANJI: The Video Game releasing on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 15 November 2019. Trailer here.

● PQube Games announced they are localising Kemco’s visual novel game Rei-Jin-G-Lu-P as Raging Loop later this year. Announcement trailer here.

● Draw Distance announced Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York for Q4 2019 release on Switch and Pc. Announcement trailer here.

Gematsu report that UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] has been rated for Switch in Taiwan.

● The results of the Sanrio Character Ranking 2019 are in with Hello Kitty edging out Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin for first place!

● The final Sega Mega Drive Mini game announcements are Lord Monarch, Dynamite Headdy, Alisia Dragoon, Darius, Road Rash II, Snow Bros., Monster World IV, Slap Fight, Columns, Tetris, Assault Suit Leynos, and Langrisser II for Japan (trailer here) bringing the total games to 42.

● And the final 12 Sega Genesis Mini announcements are Tetris, Darius, Road Rash II, Strider, Virtua Fighter 2, Alisia Dragoon, Columns, Dynamite Headdy, Kid Chameleon, Monster World IV, Light Crusader, and Eternal Champions.

● Cyber Gadget revealed a CYBER · Arcade Stick for Nintendo Switch / PlayStation 4, releasing on 31 August 2019 and coming with four interchangeable overlay sheets.
