Both Nintendo of Europe and America have announced that Level-5’s action RPG SNACK WORLD: THE DUNGEON CRAWL – GOLD (known in Japan as “The Snack World Trejarers Gold”) will be releasing in their respective regions on 14 February 2020. Kadokawa Games’s upcoming love simulation game LoveR Kiss is currently 80% complete. It’s scheduled for release on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this Winter, and although a Play-Asia listing has the game as a 14 March release, we haven’t had this confirmed. Masahiro Sakurai’s 592nd column in this week’s issue (No.1616) of Weekly Famitsu magazine sees the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director talk about the game surpassing Street Fighter II to become the best-selling fighting game. Sakurai says that Smash is considered an action game in Japan. Even though it has suprassed SFII in sales, he still considers Capcom’s classic to be the king of fighting games still. Sakurai says a fighting game may become stale once mastered, hence why the series is designed closer to a party game. More details are found at this thread. Translation thanks to Robert Sephazon.
Koei Tecmo Games’s Musou OROCHI 3 Ultimate (Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate) is now available on the Japanese Switch eShop although the “Ultimate” content isn’t playable until 10:00 JST on 19 December where a patch will be required before it can be played. Ultimate is priced at ¥8,580 for the regular version, ¥9,680 for the Deluxe Edition, or ¥5,280 for an Upgrade Pack aimed at those who own the original game. Ultimate supports Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and requires 14.4 GB, 14.7 GB, and 2.0 GB respectively. Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection Available to Preload
Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection (which includes both Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue) is now available to preload on the Japanese Switch eShop priced at ¥6,600, supporting Japanese, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), and requiring 11.8 GB.
