The Wonderful 101 Dated

PlatinumGames have announced that The Wonderful 101 will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam in Japan on June 11, 2020. North America and Europe will get the game earlier, on May 19 and May 22 respectively. Japanese price will be ¥5,478 for the physical edition with a limited sticker and ¥4,378 for the digital version. The Kickstarter campaign is open until March 7 at 05:00 JST. The Wonderful 101: Remastered Announced

PlatinumGames have announced The Wonderful 101: Remastered for multiple systems with the Kickstarter now live. $50k is required for the Switch version, $250k for the Steam version, and $500k for the PS4 version. Edit: the Switch version is now funded! The game is expected to ship by April 2020. The Wonderful 101: Remastered is one of four Platinum announcements to appear on the Platinum 4 website.

Inaba Wants To Put Wonderful 101 On Switch

In Weekly Famitsu Issue No.1576, which releases in a few hours in Japan, Platinum Games’s Atsushi Inaba talks with Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata about wanting to put The Wonderful 101 on Nintendo Switch. He jokes that since so few people played the original, that he could introduce it as a new title!

Kamiya Wants Wonderful 101 On Switch 

Hideki Kamiya has again stated he wants to see The Wonderful 101 ported to Nintendo Switch. Platinum Games are also working on several new games including an action title that they claim to ‘turn the genre on its head’, although no mention of platforms at this stage. Platinum Games Want Wonderful 101 On Switch

At the Reboot Develop 2018 event in Croatia today, Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya of Platinum Games tried to rally the crowd in support of a port of the Wii U action game The Wonderful 101 to the Nintendo Switch which was translated as “They’re still trying to negotiate with Nintendo whether a possible Wonderful 101 Switch release could happen.” Thanks to Eurogamer.
