Nintendo have announced that Puper Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold 12.08 million as of 31 December 2018. The numbers are worldwide consolidated sales in units life-to-date and include the downloadable versions.

Spirits from the Mega Man series will inhabit the Spirit Board in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for three days from 01 February (31 January PT) including Legend-class spirit Dr. Wily, Ace-class spirit MegaMan Volnutt, and spirit Bass appearing for a limited time. Defeat them to receive more golf than usual.
