Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Update Announced

Nintendo have announced in-game that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be updated to Version 3.1.0 within the next seven days. The update will include fighter adjustments, meaning replay data from previous versions will be incompatible. Image thanks to @7C4FoH0rwv6oijE.

Spirit Shield Slowdown Event

A new ‘Spirit Shield Slowdown’ spirit event has been announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate beginning this Friday. During this event, defeated spirits’ shields will spin slower after Spirit Board battles, and you get triple the SP! Please note that the original image was incorrectly posted by Nintendo and is for next week’s event!

Suit Up Spirit Event UPDATED

A suit themed spirit event ‘Suit Up!’ has been announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate beginning this Friday. It will feature spirits wearing ties or bow ties on the Spirit Board. Defeat them in battle to earn extra snacks. Legend-class spirits Dr. Wily and Jeff, plus the Ace-class spirits Party Phil and Kazuhira Miller, will appear at set times. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Updated

Nintendo have updated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Version 3.0.1 which fixes a bug where winning with a Final Smash while on Joker’s route in Classic Mode would prevent the game from progressing, as well as several issues to improve the gameplay experience.
