Nintendo Switch Online Games Announced

Nintendo have announced Nintendo Switch Online games for 12 December 2019 with Star Fox 2, Super Punch-Out!!, Kirby Super Star, & Breath of Fire II for SNES and Crystalis & Journey to Silius for NES in North America / Europe. Japan will see Star Fox 2 & Hoshi no Kirby Super Deluxe for Super Famicom and Famicom Wars & Route-16 Turbo for Famicom. The Family Computer Controllers are also reduced in Japan from ¥6,578 to ¥3,990 until 10 January. Videos for both regions added below…

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Review

1st reviewer: Compared to ‘I’, the adventure colour has become stronger. While the previous one felt like splitting a bamboo(*), this one puts the most emphasis into the scenario and events. It gets a lot of influences from existing RPGs. But the story development is being polished up superbly, and I give four full circles to the graphics. Things related to the direction are especially great. This is very much a masterpiece. 9

Nintendo Switch Online Games Live

The Super Famicom Nintendo Switch Online app is now available on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop as a free download requiring 118 MB. Check out the full list of included games below along with select screenshots. The games in both this and the Family Computer Nintendo Switch Online app can now be arranged by title, release date, total play time, and more. Pressing the ZL button + ZR button will allow you to rewind, with the Famicom app updated to Version 4.0.0. All titles can be saved at anytime during play.

SNES Online Games Announced

Nintendo have just announced that 20 Super Famicom (SNES) games will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online from 06 September in Japan with the following titles: F-ZERO, Kirby Bowl, Star Fox, Super E.D.F., Super Family Tennis, Super Formation Soccer, Super Puyo Puyo, Super Mario Kart, Yoshi’s Island, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Joe & Mac 3, Demon’s Crest, Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts, Pilotwings, Breath of Fire, Kirby’s Dream Land 3, Rushing Beat Ran, and Wild Trax. Play NES Games On Super Famicom

Columbus Circle are releasing an Extension Converter for NES in mid-April priced at ¥3,218 ($29) that allows you to play overseas NES games on a Super Famicom. Players that own a 16bit Pocket HDMI console (pictured below) can then use a HDMI lead to play NES games in high definition on their TV. An AV lead is supplied to use with a traditional Super Famicom console. More pictures added below…

Super Gachapon World Coming To Switch 

Bandai Namco Entertainment will publish the Super Famicom game Super Gachapon World: SD Gundam X on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Japan this week (06 December) priced at ¥916.
