Wednesday Update with Steins;Gate, Kunio-kun, Picross and Dragon Fang games all announced for Nintendo Switch!

● 5pb. will be bringing Steins;Gate Elite to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018. The game is currently 30% complete. 

● Arc System Works announced Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection for Nintendo Switch in 2018 containing all 11 Famicom games, the 4 NES variants and added online play! Trailer here.

● Jupiter announced Picross S for Nintendo Switch for 28 September priced at ¥800 and including 300 puzzles and a two-player mode.

● Toydea confirmed their upcoming Nintendo Switch title is the rogue-like RPG Dragon Fang Z and scheduled for the Fall. Announcement trailer here .

● Cross Function have confirmed that they will publish the fantasy RPG Earthlock for Nintendo Switch this Winter priced at ¥3,240. Trailer here.

● Kakehashi Games are helping with the localisations for several Nintendo Switch games in Japan including Battle Chef Brigade, Light Fall, Hollow Knight, YIIK: A Postmodern RPG, Owlboy, Uurnog Uurnlimited, Dandara and Kingdom: Two Crowns.

● Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata told Eurogamer that Square-Enix are “having very open, frank discussions with Nintendo at the moment about what they think is the best thing to do” regarding FF15 on the platform. Read the interview here

● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced Welcome Price!! versions of both Nanatsu no Taizai: The Seven Deadly Sins – Unjust Sin and Osomatsu-san Matsu Matsuri! with both games re-releasing on 9 November 2017 priced at just ¥2,800 each.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares went up by a further 4.74% to 42,890 and a new nine year high with the news that the Switch is launching in both South Korea and Taiwan on 01 December 2017.

● This week’s Japanese videogame charts saw Metroid: Samus Returns open with 25,896. Nintendo Switch sold a further 38,006. Full charts here

● The Japanese 3DS demo for 100% Pasukaru Sensei: Perfect Paint Bombers will be removed from the eShop on 27 September at 09:00 JST so act quick!

● Thomas Hopp Games will publish Axiom Verge in Japan on 05 October priced at ¥1,999.

● Marvelous Co., Ltd. have applied for a trademark for No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again.

● Pokémon GO will celebrate the Equinox from 22 September to 02 October with a better chance of catching Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar, and more, all-new Super Incubators which hatch Eggs 1.5 times quicker, and earning triple the normal XP when registering a new Pokémon to your Pokédex.
