Nintendo have announced that the Mayonnaise vs Ketchup Splatfest will be returning to Splatoon 2 from May 23 to May 25 (May 22-24 in North America). This is a repeat of a 2017 Splatfest which was won by Team Mayo by 2-1! Nintendo have announced that a Special Demo event (Tokubetsu Taikenban’20) for Splatoon 2 will be available on April 30 at 15:00 JST (April 29 at 23:00 PT) for a week, where you’ll be able to play Turf War, Ranked Battle, Salmon Run, and more! Nintendo have updated Splatoon 2 to Version 5.2.0 with a number of changes to the performance of several main and special weapons, plus a number of other minor changes. This is the last planned update for the game. Please note that maintenance is ongoing until approximately 11:30 JST (19:30 PT). Full patch added below.
