A further little tease for Seiken Densetsu 5

Square Enix Producer Masaru Oyamada recently spoke With Game Watch after the release of Seiken Densetsu Collection for Nintendo Switch yesterday and was asked a number of questions such as why they chose the Game Boy version of the first title (because they wanted all Nintendo games on one collection) re-using the Game Boy emulation for future games (a non-committal answer). And Seiken Densetsu 5…

Regarding the prospect for the future, Oyamada-san previously said that you ‘want to make Seiken Densetsu 5 at some time’. How are you thinking about that right now?

“Let’s see, this time it’s pretty much a commemorative-like game where you could play three Seiken Densetsu titles, but I hope people could anticipate the new games, including Seiken Densetsu 5. However first of all, there’s also the thing… that I’d be in trouble if Seiken Densetsu Collection didn’t sell much though (wry laugh).”

Many thanks to Kite again for the translation. Please credit Japanese Nintendo if posting any of the above elsewhere.
