The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Review

1st reviewer: Compared to ‘I’, the adventure colour has become stronger. While the previous one felt like splitting a bamboo(*), this one puts the most emphasis into the scenario and events. It gets a lot of influences from existing RPGs. But the story development is being polished up superbly, and I give four full circles to the graphics. Things related to the direction are especially great. This is very much a masterpiece. 9

Konami Announce PC Engine Mini

After Nintendo, SNK, Sony, and Sega have entered the classic console market; it’s Konami’s turn, who today announced a PC Engine mini, PC Engine CoreGrafx mini, and TurboGrafx-16 mini, although no release date nor price. The western versions come pre-installed with Alien Crush, Dungeon Explorer, New Adventure Island, Ninja Spirit, R-Type, Ys Book I & II, and more to be announced. The Japanese version comes with Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo, Dungeon Explorer, THE Kung Fu, PC Genjin, Super Star Soldier, Ys I & II, and more. Trailers added below…

Play NES Games On Super Famicom

Columbus Circle are releasing an Extension Converter for NES in mid-April priced at ¥3,218 ($29) that allows you to play overseas NES games on a Super Famicom. Players that own a 16bit Pocket HDMI console (pictured below) can then use a HDMI lead to play NES games in high definition on their TV. Famicom Controllers Announced 

Nintendo have announced Family Computer Controllers for Nintendo Switch releasing as a Nintendo Switch Online exclusive product for 6,458 yen. Reservations open on 19 September until the end of the year. You can only play the Famicom/NES games with these controllers.
