Ratalaika Games‘ Japanese arm are set to announce three games to release domestically in 2019 with platforms supported being Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One. It’s not known how many of the three will be on Switch. The first of the three titles will be announced this or next week. Indie publisher and porter Ratalaika Games have opened up a Japanese website and Twitter and are set to announce new works for the Japanese market soon with all future games to be self-published. Another aim for the company is to publish Japanese developed games in North America and Europe. Ratalaika Games have currently self-published six games for Switch in Japan including Bird Game +, Jack N’ Jill DX, TETRA’s Escape, Super Destronaut DX, Midnight DX, and Twin Robot DX, with several more titles with domestic publishers.
Ratalaika Games have finished their port of the HTML5 game creator Construct 2 for Nintendo Switch, which is designed specifically for 2D games. Ratalaika will be at the Tokyo Game Show with Shinyuden next month in the Indie Game Corner looking for developers who wish to port their games to Nintendo Switch.
