Pokémon Sword / Shield Outsells Splatoon 2

Pokémon Sword & Shield has now outsold Splatoon 2 in retail sales in Japan, and has now sold 3,312,358 physical units as of 19 January 2020. The best-selling game is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with 3,522,802 units sold. Check out the full top 10 software sales for this week at this post.

Pokémon Sword / Shield Sells 3m in Japan

Pokémon Sword & Shield has become the third Nintendo Switch game to sell over 3 million physical copies in Japan, after Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. A Pokémon Sword & Shield Expansion Pass has been announced for the Nintendo Switch game(s) priced at ¥2,980 for two packs – The Isle of Armor (June 2020) and The Crown Tundra (Fall 2020) boasting new Galarian forms, returning Pokémon (more than 200), new Pokémon, new regions, and more.
