The Team GO Rocket Leaders Disruption event has now begun in Pokémon GO featuring the Pokémon Ekans, Meowth, and Koffing appearing more frequently plus there’s the possibility of a Shiny Meowth in the wild or in raids! Team GO Rocket has started using the following Shadow Pokémon: Sandshrew, Bellsprout, Magnemite, Porygon, and Wobbuffet.

Pokémon GO × One Piece Collaboration Announced

A One Piece collaboration event with Pokémon GO has been announced for 13:00 JST on 22 July for one week where Straw Hat Pikachu will appear in the wild along with Straw Hat avatar items (see below). A One Piece statue will also appear in Kumamoto in support of the 2016 earthquake, with an illustration by manga artist Eiichiro Oda. 22 July marks the third anniversary of Pokémon GO in Japan and the 22nd anniversary of One Piece.

Pokémon GO Team Logo Trademarks

Nintendo Co., Ltd. have applied for three Pokémon GO-related trademarks in Japan with the logos for Team Valor, Team Mystic, and Team Instinct. Purposes include those related to computer game software, smartphone covers, trading cards, video game machines, plush dolls, jigsaw puzzles, board games, and more.
