Pokémon Has Most Successful Year Yet
Sensor Tower report that Pokémon GO had its most commercially successful year in 2019 generating an estimated $894 million in gross player spending, totaling more than $3.1 billion in lifetime player spending.
The Lava Dome Pokémom Heatran has returned to five-star raids for a limited-time in Pokémon GO. Shiny Heatran is also available to users lucky enough to encounter one!
Niantic are adding a Buddy Adventure feature to Pokémon GO in 2020 which is described as “an elevated bonding experience for Trainers and their buddies” and features four Buddy Levels: Good Buddy, Great Buddy, Ultra Buddy, and Best Buddy. The Team GO Rocket Leaders Disruption event has now begun in Pokémon GO featuring the Pokémon Ekans, Meowth, and Koffing appearing more frequently plus there’s the possibility of a Shiny Meowth in the wild or in raids! Team GO Rocket has started using the following Shadow Pokémon: Sandshrew, Bellsprout, Magnemite, Porygon, and Wobbuffet.
