Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced Namco Museum Arcade Pac for Nintendo Switch which contains both Namco Museum and PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 PLUS. The former collection includes Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, The Tower of Druaga, Sky Kid, Rolling Thunder, Galaga ‘88, Splatterhouse, Rolling Thunder 2, Tank Force and Pac-Man Vs., with the latter including an all new 2-player co-op mode.
Namco Museum Arcade Pac is due for release in Europe and North America on 28 September with a Japanese release expected. Trailer added below…
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 announced for Switch
Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 Plus for Nintendo Switch featuring a two player co-op mode and releasing as a download only title on 22 February 2018 in Europe (a Japanese release is unconfirmed but inevitable).
Bandai Namco will be removing three Pac-Man games from the eShop on 28 April at 10:00 JST with the pictured above GBA game Pac-Man Collection on Wii U where it is currently ¥702 and the Famicom version of Pac-Man (¥514). The 3DS also sees the Game Boy version of Pac-Man (¥309) removed although the 3DS Famicom version isn’t listed for removal. As always it is recommended to buy the above games in non-Japanese regions if you’re interested in them as they could be removed at any moment,
SmileBoom have announced SmileBASIC Magazine Vol. 1, a physical 110 page A4 magazine due for release on 27 June, published by Ambit and priced at ¥1,296. Contents include details on Puchikon BIG for Wii U and the Open Project IP with Bandai Namco where users can add the Pac-Man, Galaxian and Xevious IP into their Puchikon No. 3: SmileBASIC games.
