Ninja JaJaMaru Collection Free Update Announced

City Connection has announced they will be delivering a free update to Ninja JaJaMaru Collection in the future which will add more levels to the collection’s new game, The Great Yokai Battle. In addition: Version 1.2 will arrive soon fixing bugs related to graphical and sound issues and improving save and load functions of the five classic titles. City Connection will publish the retro game compilation Ninja JaJaMaru Collection for Nintendo Switch in Japan on 12 December priced at ¥4,536. The games included are Ninja JaJaMaru-kun (1985), JaJaMaru no Daibouken (1986), JaJaMaru Ninpou Chou (1989), JaJaMaru Gekimaden Maboroshi no Kinmajou (1990), Ninja JaJaMaru Ginga Daisakusen (1991), and JaJaMaru no Youkai Daisakusen (2019). Ninja Jajamaru-kun series to return 

City Connection who recently acquired the Jaleco IP and are more recently known for their game soundtrack label Clarice Disc, are moving into game development and opened a studio called Naughty earlier this month. City Connection will work alongside 3DS developers/publishers Mechanic Arms to make several games for various hardware platforms among them Jaleco IP’s.  

The first new game announced is an all new Ninja Jajamaru-kun title. The last Ninja Jajamaru-kun game (Ninja Jajamaru-kun: Sakura-hime to Karyu no Himitsu) released on Nintendo 3DS way back in 2013 by Hamster and is one of the better platform games on the system. Please note the screenshot used is from the said 3DS version. We’ll keep you posted with any further updates!
