Capcom Announcement Likely At TGS

Capcom will have a Special Stage on 15 September from 14:05-15:00 JST (14 September from 22:05-23:00 PT) at the Tokyo Game Show where an existing series game will likely be announced. A studio interview will follow from 15:00-15:10. This announcement will be separate from the PROJECT RESISTANCE news. Thanks to Gematsu.

Dokopon Titles Being Removed

Librica will be removing all 98 Dokopon Choice titles from the Japanese 3DS eShop on 31 January at 13:00 JST with re-downloading only available until 28 February at 17:00 JST. Titles include Super Mario Kun, Dragon Ball, Monster Hunter and countless others.

Monster Hunter News Teased!

Ryozo Tsujimoto of Capcom, has just teased at The Game Awards that a Monster Hunter announcement will be made in a few days. Monster Hunter World incidentally won the Best RPG award.

Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ Announced 

Capcom have announced the next huge update for their online Monster Hunter Frontier series with Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ (pronounced ‘Double Zed’) scheduled for release this Fall, with more information coming on 24 August. 

This is expected to be the first entry to skip Wii U since Monster Hunter Frontier G released back in 2013 (source). Capcom also announced a new ‘Magnet Spike’ weapon and a collaboration with Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud.
