Nintendo’s upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3 is now available to preload on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop, priced at ¥6,458 and requiring 6.3 GB. Languages supported are Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Korean, and Chinese. Paid DLC is also confirmed for the game for additional new content to Terror Tower and Playland (the English area names are ScareScraper and ScreamPark – thanks Xavi).
Nintendo have announced in-store events at Aeon Mall in Chiba from 10-11 August and Aeon Mall in Kyoto from 17-18 August with Luigi’s Mansion 3 (only playable in pairs), Super Mario Maker 2, and TETRIS 99. All visitors will receive an original fan while stocks last, anyone who plays the above games will receive an original notebook (pictured below) while stocks last. More information posted here.

Nintendo have revealed their World Hobby Fair Summer ’19 line-up which will be held in Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan on 29-30 June. Super Mario Maker 2 will be playable, alongside Luigi’s Mansion 3 (only as a pair) and TETRIS 99.
A competition for primary school students will be held for Super Mario Maker 2 with each winner receiving a sticker (pictured below) with a course creating contest (for all ages) airing over the weekend on YouTube and niconico. TETRIS 99 winners will also receive a sticker. All visitors will also receive an ‘original note’ (also pictured below) while stocks last…

● Nintendo announced the first batch of Nintendo Switch games playable on the E3 2019 show floor with Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order. This basically confirms that Luigi and Zelda will be 2019 titles. Animal Crossing is notable by its absence, although this doesn’t mean it is not coming this year. The Shinya Takahashi development update video (which I won’t be linking to here) is a 100% fake, but was picked up by several Japanese media.
