Capcom Comment On Rockman X9

Rockman 11 producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya recently spoke with the Taiwanese press and when asked about Rockman X9, he stated: “Regarding the massive spread of rumors that Rockman X9 is in development, there is no such thing.”

Tsuchiya then goes on to offer a glimmer of hope: “We can’t say we have been doing nothing; we are actively and carefully monitoring the reactions from our gamers.” He states that the sales and feedback of the Rockman collection helped Rockman 11 gain development approval, implying that the same could happen with strong Rockman 11 sales and feedback.
