Bandai Namco Entertainment have delivered a large free update to Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version (Fishing Spirits) today adding a new four-player “First Tuna Fishing Tournament” where the player with the most prize money wins. Also available today (until 31 March 2020) are collaborations with both Taiko no Tatsujin and Ninja Box (which we wrote about here). The former lets players use the “Taiko no Tatsujin Rod” and execute the special technique “Summon Fish” featuring Don Chan. The latter sees Tonkachi and more characters appear if you catch Gold Fish. Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced free Ninja Box Pack DLC for Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version! arriving next week (12 December) adding the game’s theme song and main character Tonkachi. Don Chan will also be added to Ninja Box at a later date. A third collaboration is for Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version which will see Don Chan and Tonkachi from 09 December – 31 March. Characters from all three games will also feature in a Ninja Box web anime episode. Bandai Namco Entertainment have updated Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version (Fishing Spirits) to Version 1.1.2 adding in button controls so Nintendo Switch Lite owners can play. Bandai Namco Apologise For Fishing Spirits Shortages
Bandai Namco Entertainment have apologised for the shortages for Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version (Fishing Spirits). The next shipment date is from late August to early September, or alternatively purchase on the eShop if you’re unable to find a physical copy. The game has currently sold over 125k copies at retail. Bandai Namco Entertainment will publish the fishing game Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version (Fishing Spirits) on 25 July 2019 priced at ¥6,156. The Switch version will feature Adventure and Tournament modes not found in the arcade version as well as a Medal mode. It allows for up to four-players, although cannot be played portably.
