Square-Enix have updated Dragon Quest Builders 2 in Japan to Version 1.73 on Nintendo Switch & Steam and Version 1.17 on PlayStation 4. Square-Enix have released a Dragon Quest Builders 2 Jumbo Demo on the Nintendo Switch eShop (now in Japan and tomorrow overseas) which lets you play up until Furrowfield Island and transfer your data over to the full version. Square-Enix have announced that worldwide retail shipments and digital sales for Dragon Quest Builders 2 have exceeded 1.1 million on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Square-Enix also announced that the final free update for the game will add three save slots, an epilogue, eight new hairstyles, items to change the weather, save up to three islands, and more. With the Modernist Pack DLC out today in Japan for Dragon Quest Builders 2: Hakaishin Shidoo to Karappo no Shima, Square-Enix have released a new DLC Set on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop priced at ¥11,772 ($107) and containing the three paid DLC packs (Hotto Stuff, Aquarium, and Modernist) and free DLC pack (Knickknack).
