Pikachu Outsells Eevee 55：45
From the opening three day sales in Japan, Pocket Monsters: Let’s Go! Pikachu／Eevee will be the best-selling game with Pikachu out-selling Eevee at all three early trackers. The ratio at GEO (with 1,853 outlets across Japan although only data collated from around 1,200 stores) is 55：45 with sales described as “strong” for the opening week. The game received 518 points in total at COMG! (14 stores across Japan) and occupies four of the top five positions (inclusive of the Monster Ball Sets). Dairantou Smash Bros. SPECIAL is currently 565 points for preorders alone so looks to be the bigger of the two games. TSUTAYA rankings (1,461 stores across Japan) have the game occupying all four top positions.
