Monkey King Announced For Switch 

Retroism have announced a HD port of the arcade version of the side scrolling shooter Chuka Taisen for Nintendo Switch as Monkey King: Master of the Clouds. The game was initially ported to the Famicom, MSX2, PC Engine (as Gokuraku! Chuka Taisen) and X68000, and later was released to the Master System in the West as Cloud Master. 

Starfish-SD, who were formed by former employees of the original developer HOT-B, are developing Monkey King, having previously released the Wii sequel Shin Chuka Taisen: Michael to Meimei no Bouken (The Monkey King: The Legend Begins). Monkey King: Master of the Clouds is scheduled for worldwide release this Summer. Announcement trailer below…
