PlatinumGames producer Atsushi Inaba revealed in an interview with IGN Japan that the company is interested in self-publishing the Bayonetta series. Inaba adds that Nintendo and Sega currently both own half of the intellectual property rights. PlatinumGames’ first self-published title The Wonderful 101 has been funded for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam. [Thanks, Anime News Network]

Nintendo are removing Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 from the Japanese Wii U eShop on 18 September at 23:59 JST. The sales of the Nintendo Switch versions will not be affected. No reason was given for the removal. Many thanks to Naruki.
