Nintendo’s Release Calendar Updated

Nintendo have updated their release calendar at the latest Six Months Earnings Release with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore still listed as 17 January 2020, Animal Crossing: New Horizons still listed as 20 March 2020, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition and the Famicom Tantei Club games listed as 2020, and Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 all still listed as TBA. No other first party Switch games have been revealed for next year and beyond at time of posting.

Pokémon Switch – ‘2018 Or Later’ 

Nintendo currently list Pokémon RPG for Nintendo Switch as ‘2018 or later’. Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch, Yoshi for Nintendo Switch and Super Smash Bros. are all listed as ‘2018′. Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 are both listed as ‘TBA’.

Nintendo open up Bayonetta website 

Nintendo have opened up the Bayonetta website for all three games and revealed that both Bayonetta amiibo will unlock items, special costumes and weapons in the second game. Two new gameplay trailers (sans sound) below with more added at the source (under ‘Action’).

Bayonetta 1, 2 and 3 announced for Switch 

Nintendo announced at The Game Awards 2017 that they will release the first two Bayonettas for Nintendo Switch plus announced that Bayonetta 3 will release exclusively on the system! Both Bayonetta 1 (digital only for ¥3,758) and Bayonetta 2 (both digital and retail for ¥6,458) will release on 17 February 2018 in Japan (16 February in the West) with a Bayonetta ∞ CLIMAX EDITION (steel book containing both games, cards and stickers for ¥10,778).
