Japanese developers Sprite who Nintendo fans more than likely know for their Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm for Nintendo Switch game have announced they have reformed after disbanding in March earlier this year. Sprite and the production studio S-WORKS would like to produce Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm EXTRA2 in the future and hope to announce a follow-up report in January 2020.
Sprite／Fairys (who developed Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm for Nintendo Switch) announced they will be disbanding in late March; with no chance of future development, sequel production, or brand revival, using the company name. The online spriteSTORE will also permanently close. The Switch game is still available on the eShop where it is published by PIACCI. Sprite’s upcoming Bishoujo game Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm for Nintendo Switch is now available to pre-load on the Switch eShop published by PIACCI, priced at ¥6,264 and requiring 6.4GB. Pre-order a retail copy here (use the code JPNINTENDO for $3 off!).
