About

This website began life in 2013 as just a random Tumblr blog. A few months later, it became Japanese 3DS covering mainly Japanese 3DS games. Several years later, the name became what it is today, where it also now covers mobile and Nintendo Switch.

Japanese Nintendo has recently made the move from Tumblr to WordPress where it continues to deliver Japanese Nintendo news stories in English, weekly software charts, translated Weekly Famitsu reviews of many top games, plus so much more.

Owned by Brian Cooper, who first played a ZX Spectrum 48k+ back in the 80s, and has been a Nintendo fan ever since the original Game Boy and Super Famicom. Contact briancooper at icloud.com with news tips and advertising opportunities.

Please note that many posts before transferring to WordPress (May 2019) are currently displaying incorrectly. This will be corrected in time, although there is no exact time frame for this to happen. This site is not affiliated with Nintendo Co., Ltd.
