Nintendo Treehouse: Live | October 2020
The latest Nintendo Treehouse: Live on October 7 showcased new gameplay for Pikmin 3 Deluxe and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
The first segment saw a Pikmin 3 Deluxe deep dive including the first look at the splitscreen co-op, which is new to Story mode. A new Ultra-Spicy difficulty setting restricts players to just 60 Pikmin. Anytime players encounter a new creature, it will be added to the Piklopedia. The Side Stories missions, featuring Captain Olimar and Louie, were also covered, as was the new Player vs Player Bingo Battle mode. A demo will be available this evening with save data carrying over to the full game.
Following will be a new stage and gameplay details for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. First off is gameplay footage of Urbosa, followed by Zelda. Koroks are also hidden within the game! The first look at the full map which can be accessed from the top of a Sheikah Tower in between stages. Weapons do not break unlike in Breath of the Wild, and you can even cook dishes! Link can also be shirtless! The stream ends with Impa footage, with no new character reveals made for the game.
