Super Mario Bros. 35

The latest game free for Nintendo Switch Online members is Super Mario Bros. 35 which is a new take on the classic NES game with a 35-player twist! Players compete online against 34 other plumbers to find out who will be the last Mario standing! This game will only be playable until March 31, 2021. FiNC HOME FiT

New games added to the Japanese Switch eShop include the martial-arts based rhythm fitness game FiNC HOME FiT which launches on October 29 for ¥6,050 and requires 774 MB. Konami’s latest entry in the legendary sugoroku board game series Momotaro Dentetsu ~Showa Heisei Reiwa mo Teiban!~ is also available priced at ¥6,930, requiring 1.3 GB, and launching November 19. Also newly added is Piofiore no Banshou -Episodio1926-, which is a visual novel game set in Italy after World War I. The game launches on November 12 for ¥7,150 and requires 6.0 GB. Hell Sports

The only demo this week is for the party sports game Hell Sports from Neilo. Last week’s demo was for the multiplayer party game Tools Up! from All in! Games.

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda

Recently released was the pictured 3rd DLC Pack “Symphony of the Mask” from Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda which is available for ¥1,000, allowing you to play as Skull Kid and experience a new story and map. Yo-kai Gakuen Y ~Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu~ receives its first large update adding Elze and a multiplayer mode. Animal Crossing: New Horizons also receives its large Fall update with plenty of preparations for Halloween – read our full post here for more information.

Sale highlights include the first post-launch discount for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers which is currently 28% off (reduced from ¥9,680 to ¥6,969). Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is 43% off to commemorate the game surpassing 6 million sales (reduced from ¥8,778 to ¥4,999).
