

Magical Drop DX Coming to Switch
G-mode have announced the action puzzle game Magical Drop DX for Nintendo Switch as the latest game in the G-MODE Archives series.

Magical Drop DX sees players eliminate coloured bubbles by matching up three or more of the same colour on a single column. A story mode is included along with online rankings. Magical Drop first released in the arcades in 1995 and was ported to numerous systems including Super Famicom, with five sequels available. This DX version was originally released on smartphones in 2009.

G-MODE Archive Series 19 Magical Drop DX releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan on Thursday, October 8, 2020, priced at ¥500, and has been given a CERO B rating (suitable for ages 12 and above). Fans of the series can already pick up both ACA NEOGEO Magical Drop 2 and ACA NEOGEO Magical Drop 3 on the Nintendo Switch eShop, each priced at ¥838. Introduction video to be added below.

G-MODE Archives consists of past G-mode smartphone titles ported over to Nintendo Switch. Magical Drop DX will mark the 19th title in the series.
