Monster Hunter Rise Announced

Capcom have announced an all-new Monster Hunter game for Nintendo Switch with Monster Hunter Rise releasing on March 26, 2021.

The critically acclaimed action-RPG series returns to the Nintendo Switch with Monster Hunter Rise! It’s scheduled to release on March 26, 2021, priced at ¥7,990 for the standard digital version, ¥8,990 for the digital deluxe and ¥8,789 for the physical version (box art here). Also scheduled to release are new amiibo for Palamute, Magnamalo, and Palico (pictured here).

Set in the ninja-inspired land of Kamura Village, explore lush ecosystems and battle fearsome monsters to become the ultimate hunter. It’s been half a century since the last calamity struck, but the terrifying new monsters ‘Magnamalo’, ‘Aknosom’. ‘Great Izuchi’, and ‘Tetranadon’ have reared their head and threaten to plunge the land into chaos once again.

Hunt solo or in a party with friends in up-to 4-payer local or online multiplayer to earn rewards that you can use to craft a huge variety of weapons and armour. Brand new gameplay systems such as the high-flying ‘Wire Action’ and your canine companion ‘Palamute’ will add exciting new layers to the already robust combat that the Monster Hunter series is known for.
