Nintendo eShop Update Week 38

This week’s line-up of Nintendo eShop games coming to Japan including Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Pro Yakyuu Famista 2020, and more.

Available this week

Play three classic games at home or on the go—all in one package on the Nintendo Switch system! Jump into paintings in Super Mario 64, clean up paint-like goop in Super Mario Sunshine, and fly from planet to planet in Super Mario Galaxy.

The latest game in the Famista series which debuted on the Family Computer back in 1986. This latest entry includes a 1-player Story mode, a 4-player Party mode, and full character customisation that you can bring into online battles.

The side-scrolling shoot ’em up is now available on Nintendo Switch with sub-stories on each of the game’s characters, who are also fully voiced. There’s also a Gallery mode where you can view all acquired images at any time!

The fourth game in the Grisaia Phantom Trigger series which sees the elementary student Taiga apply to join Class A, the combat unit, where she must be supervised by Chris. All is well until a terrorist attack breaks out

The second instalment of the legendary training game series Monster Farm is here with approximately 400 types of monsters appearing. In addition, various events and mini-games have also been added to the Switch version!

Coming soon

Reservations have opened for Zelda Musou Yakusai no Mokushiroku (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity) which is priced at ¥7,920 and requires 10.8 GB. Reservations are also open for FIFA 21 Nintendo Switch Legacy Edition (¥5,600), the side-scrolling action-adventure game Ghost Parade (¥4,114 until launch), the dungeon crawler Yomi wo Saku Hana (¥8,580 for the standard version or ¥6,380 for an “Easy Edition”), and the JRPG Ys Origin (¥2,160 with preloads at 20% off). Playable demos

There are five demos this week including the fighting game Zoids Wild Infinity Blast from Takara Tomy Arts, the otome visual novel Secrets of Me from D3 Publisher, the single-player rhythm game AVICII Invector from H2 Interactive, the train track building Unrailed! from bilibili, and the 2D platformer action game HARDCORE MECHA from Lightning Games.

Downloadable content

The 10th and 11th Song Packs for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix release on the 17th each priced at ¥990 and featuring seven new songs apiece. Master Roshi will also be playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ on the 18th priced at ¥550. Touhou Spell Bubble saw a Gensokyo Holoism Pack available for ¥1,650 on the 17th featuring six new songs. Finally, Dragon Quest X Online Version 5.3 will be available on Nintendo Switch and Wii U (the 3DS version is cloud based) from the 16th.
