Bokura no School Battle+Sports Set

SAT-BOX’s second physical release for Nintendo Switch will be Bokura no School Battle+Sports Set which contains three previously digital only releases in one package with the mini-game collection Bokura no School Battle, and the sports games Desktop Bowling, and Desktop Dodgeball. The package releases in Japan on November 19, priced at ¥3,135. Check out the box art here and trailer here.

Dragon Quest X Online

The Version 5.3 update arrives for Dragon Quest X Online on September 16 for all current versions of the game (the Nintendo 3DS content will be available in the cloud and it’ll be available as an install for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U versions). The update sees the return of Princess Anlucia, the new character Narasia, and new enemy hordes. Check out the introduction video at this post.

Märchen Forest: Mylne and the Forest Gift

Primary Orbit announced that the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of Märchen Forest: Mylne and the Forest Gift will receive a packaged release in Japan (check out the box art here) although no release date at present. The game is a 3D JRPG that looks like it came from the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation One era (that was intended as a compliment btw!). More news as we have it.

After the relative success of their first packaged release Human: Fall Flat, Teyon Japan’s second physical game will be the roguelike action-RPG Moonlighter which releases for Nintendo Switch on November 26 in Japan, priced at ¥3,850. Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition

Regista, ININ Games, and Sekai Games are bringing the classic visual novel Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition to Nintendo Switch with the full reveal coming very soon. The game is set in 2030 and features two protagonists aiming for survival, with progression based upon SSS to allow the player to manipulate the story based purely upon emotion, rather than by clear-cut choices.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has finally gone gold and is expected to launch for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 worldwide on November 12 with a day one patch being prepared. The game is developed by Edelweiss (previously responsible for Astebreed) and combines side-scrolling action with deep crafting and farming simulation in what is a highly anticipated title to many.

Urban Trial Tricky

Urban Trial Tricky is getting a Japanese release next week (September 10) courtesy of Flyhigh Works and will be priced at ¥1,500. Check out the Japanese trailer here. The game was developed by Tate Multimedia and previously released in the west this June. Three single-player modes are included with over 30 levels plus side challenges, with the game also running at 60 FPS throughout.
