Witch Spring 3 Coming to Switch
Studio Artdink have announced that they are bringing the third game in the Witch Spring smartphone fantasy RPG series to Nintendo Switch.
Majo no Izumi 3 Re:Fine Ningyou Majo, Eirudy no Monogatari (as the Switch version will be known as in Japan) comes several weeks after the series’ side-scrolling action game spin-off Shadow of Witch Marionette was announced by developers Kiwi Walks, also for Nintendo Switch (check out more details at this post). The Witch Spring series debuted on smartphones in 2015 and has now seen four mainline entries which together total more than 1.7 million downloads.
The Nintendo Switch release will be published by G CHOICE, the new label by Studio Artdink, and adds voice acting, updated graphics, new events, and more new content exclusively for the release. The game is scheduled for December 3, priced at ¥4,378 for the Japanese only packaged version (with soundtrack CD, art book, and box) and ¥3,278 for the worldwide digital release. Witch Spring 3 originally released on iOS and Android in 2017, and tells the story of Eirudy, the Marionette Witch, who is chased after by warriors. Eirudy lives in a house in the Misty Forest, where she crafts tools and magic, and trains herself for battle against the warriors who she encounters outside whilst looking for magical ingredients. To fight the warriors, you must wake your dolls and use them in combat as you lead Eirudy, the Marionette Witch, towards the path of light.
