Together with your companion Evelyn, you explore ancient ruins and solve ingenious puzzles to find mysterious locales while being opposed by the evil Clairvaux company. Adam’s Venture: Origins launches on July 30 in Japan priced at ¥2,700, with a preload price of ¥2,400.

Aggelos is a new 2D side-scrolling action-RPG that looks like it was plucked straight out of the 16-bit era, but featuring modern-day game design. Inspired by non-linear Japanese retro adventures, Aggelos hurls players into the middle of a colossal struggle for survival in the Kingdom of Lumen which is under attack. Blazing Beaks sees you choose one of eight playable bird characters and whack every nasty thing in your way, across the game’s many randomly generated levels. A competitive Tournament Mode for up to four local players is also included so you can find out just who is the rightful king of the battlefield. Blazing Beaks launches on August 7 in Japan priced at ¥1,500, with a preload price of ¥1,200.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is the final instalment of the Heavenly Host saga where you play as schoolgirl Ayumi Shinozaki to explore the decaying ruins of Heavenly Host Elementary and other locations, solve puzzles, dodge traps, and run from malicious entities, in order to end a deadly curse once and for all. Corpse Party: Blood Drive launches on August 6 in Japan priced at ¥2,970, with a preload price of ¥1,980.

Monstrum sees you stranded on a derelict cargo ship, where you find yourself hunted by one of the game’s many terrifying predators each time you play as use whatever you can find to outwit the monsters and search for a way out to escape the ship. Stay alive or you’ll have to start all over again. Monstrum launches on July 30 in Japan priced at ¥2,700, with a preload price of ¥2,400.

Mushroom Heroes is a retro 16-bit platformer where the player can switch between three different mushroom heroes that look suspiciously like a Red Toad, Blue Toad, and Kinopio-kun, with each mushroom having special abilities, which are needed in order to pass certain obstacles. Neverending Nightmares is a psychological horror game inspired by mental illness in which you play as Thomas who awakens from a terrible nightmare only to find that he is still dreaming. Hide from horrifying apparitions and outrun your inner demons to figure out what reality will be when you finally wake up. Neverending Nightmares launches on July 30 priced at ¥1,480. Panzer Paladin is a retro side-scrolling action game where you play as a rescue android to do battle with the sinister Ravenous and his legions of brutal demons across the game’s 17 levels. Seize weapons from the demonic invaders and use your swordsmanship in order to track down all the diabolical Weapon Keepers and to save mankind. Panzer Paladin launched on July 22 in Japan priced at ¥2,188.

Panty Party Packaged Version

Panty Party

Cosen have announced a packaged version of the panty battling game Panty Party for release in Japan on November 19 priced at ¥4,400 with a special edition priced at ¥8,800 which includes figure, book, and CD. Check out the box art here and a promo video for the physical release here. 8 new panties have been added to the 18 existing pairs and there are three game modes (Story, Arcade, and Competitive).

Super Noda Game Party

Super Noda Game Party

Kayac (RXN -Raijin-) and Japanese comedian Noda Crystal have begun crowdfunding on the website SILKHAT for Super Noda Game Party for Nintendo Switch with the goal of ¥4,000,000 almost achieved at time of posting. The game is planned to release in March 2021 and includes former Bandai Namco employee Hiroyuki Goto, whose past credits include Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan.
